Last week’s Shape-up for Summer Bounce-Camp (part 1) was such a success, I thought I would share the exercises with you.

Noticeable results such as a firmer and flatter stomach, toned thighs and reduced bingo wings as well as lean muscle gains and fat reductions were reported over the 5-day ultimate course.

Tricep dips

Technique:

  • Elbows point back
  • Back straight and close to chair
  • Lower down with weight back
  • Push up using arms not hips

Extend legs further for an ultimate workout

Squat with arabesque

Technique:

  • Squat down (weight in heels)
  • Come up and on to 1 leg
  • Lift leg up behind and lower chest down
  • Hold for 2 seconds and go back to squat

Do single leg squats for an ultimate workout

Core twist with crunch

Technique:

  • Sit in a V shape with legs elevated and back straight leaning back
  • Begin by twisting side to side
  • Add in crunch with legs towards chest

Use a medicine ball for an ultimate workout

Press up with twist

Technique:

  • Normal full press up position
  • Lower down with elbows pointing outwards
  • Push up using arms and chest
  • Rotate to one side and lower slowly back to start position

Use dumbbells for an ultimate workout

Leg extension core exercise

Technique:

  • Lie back with lower back to floor and legs bent at 90 degrees
  • Extend and lower one leg to the floor whilst the other leg remains at 90 degrees
  • Ensure lower back stays to the floor (no arch of the back)
  • Pull stomach muscles in to the spine and hold

Straighten and lower the bent leg down towards the ground for an ultimate workout

These exercises can all be performed at home and without the use of any other equipment – just general items such as a chair and tins of beans can be used. The next bounce-camp will be taking place at The Charnwood Golf Range starting 27th June – 1st July 6.30am – 7.30am.
